Frightening that we now think that an unknown person can be promoted to be our most popular Governor....give me a break! What qualifications does a PTA Mom and Hockey Mom who decided to get into politics have to lead this country? What is her understanding of Washington other than a few negative remarks regarding the beltway.? Does she really think that she can show case her family and new born to win over the American Public. She is running with a 72 year old candidate, is she prepared to take his place. Has she ever been to Washington or outside of the USA? Right now there is an Ethics investigation going on regarding her character. America wake up!

Did you notice that the poor baby infant (Trig) was in deep sleep during all the excitement during Sarah's speech last night?

I believe this PTA mom had given drugs to her youngest child (Trig) so that this poor baby would be in deep sleep during the entire speech and even after the speech.... He would not wake up with all the noise or even when older sister (Palin) was pocking him with her finger.... New method for keeping babies quite during busy time.... Child Abuse!

Personally, I'm delighted and can't wait for the debates. It was rather glaring where she was reading parts of the speech she had no connection with, unfortunately those were the only talking points that had content, the stuff she was comfortable with was just the beauty contest stuff, "We all want World Peace and my husband is a snow machine champion". More than a few good slogans those speechwriters wrote.

But there's an area where I'm disheartened. I had hoped that there would be a balance in the Senate, NOT a veto-proof majority. Won't happen now. They've totally orphaned the down ticket and those folks knew it was coming, that's why they didn't show at the convention. Gordon Smith is doing everything he can here in Oregon to convince folks he hates his own party.

Let's not forget, being a maverick means you're cool on the movie screen, but it also means you're unreliable, untrustworthy. How can you trust a maverick to keep his/her word.

One more thing, the end of her speech, she said something to the effect of, "he is the one that is able to lead our country for the next four years! " - now that I've never heard in the convention about a first run candidate. They usually say EIGHT years. Telling.

Furthermore, I stumble in the clash awhile ago the Presidential Campaign TV Ads Getting a Little Nasty!, featuring her running mate McCain. A sooner or later you knew it had to start! The media is begging for it and the people want to see some fight in their candidates. So here ya go...and I am sure this is only the beginning.
