  • This is so sad. There are so many African American people that are nice, kind, intelligent and hard working. When someone writes something like this, is tells me that she is shallow, has a chip on her shoulder and wants to cry
"Poor Black People" to get a passing grade so she really doesn't have to do the research and hard work on her paper.
She should be ashamed and I can see why she would want this paper locked up. I am white but have more black
friends than most black people. I have no problem with the color of a persons skin. It is character that counts.
  • I think your response was shallow. Michelle Obama obviously became very successful after leaving Princeton, which shows she is a hardworker. To imply that she was whining to get a better grade on her thesis is insulting. Just becuase you have black friends does not mean you understand the trials and tribulations that goes along with being black. You statement that you have more black friends than most blacks is even more ridiculous. Maybe you meant than most black people you know. It's easy for a person to say character counts when they are not black. Of course character is what counts but there are many Americans that see skin color first and their opionions do not change until after they get to know a person of color. I've had many people judge me based on skin color so come from under your rock and open your eyes discrimination still exists even with a new bi-racial Presidential-elect.
  • I agree with Kevin. Her response just cries ouot and shows people that she is la-la-la I'm gonna do a paper without any thought and then get people to take pity on me so I get a passing grade. It is not fair and should not matter what race you are. Grades. Are. The. Same. For. EVERYONE.
